Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are
This website, lumera.photo, is operated by The Retain Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Lumera (referred to in this policy as "we", "us", or "our"). Our contact email address is hello@lumera.photo.
We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this marketing website. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit lumera.photo. It does not cover data collected through the Lumera app platform (which operates under a separate privacy notice).
2. What data we collect
The only personal data we collect on this website is information you voluntarily provide through the contact form: your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We do not collect any special category data, payment information, or biometric data through this website. We do not use tracking pixels, ad networks, or third-party analytics tools on this site.
3. How we use your data
We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry or message, and to follow up if appropriate in connection with the subject of your original message. We will not use your contact details to send you unsolicited marketing communications.
4. Our legal basis
We process your contact form data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) - specifically, our interest in responding to enquiries that you have initiated. You are never required to use the contact form; alternative contact methods remain available.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain contact form submissions for a maximum of 12 months from the date of your last contact with us, unless we are required to keep them for longer by law or regulatory obligation. After that period, the data is securely deleted.
6. Who sees your data
Your personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only where it is necessary to use a trusted email service provider to receive and process messages (acting as a data processor under our instruction and bound by a data processing agreement), or where we are required to do so by law, court order, or a regulatory authority.
7. Cookies
This website uses a small number of functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to operate correctly. These include a cookie or local storage item that records whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again on subsequent visits. These cookies do not track you across other websites and do not store any personal data. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are used on this site.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction, right to data portability, and right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@lumera.photo. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.
9. How to complain
If you believe we have not handled your data appropriately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection. ICO website: ico.org.uk. ICO helpline: 0303 123 1113. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address any concern before you contact the ICO. Please reach us first at hello@lumera.photo.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
